Shrineburner Fuzz - Ltd Ed. Green package

$199.00

Welcome the Limited Edition SHRINEBURNER Green Fuzz package …

In collaboration with 2 other Chicago artists, I present to you a truly crushing deal. Now in a green edition release, the hand wired Shrineburner fuzz is teamed up with a scorching, locally made hot sauce loaded with Devils Tongue chilis, custom made picks by Dunlop, and some stickers to keep your guitar case lookin stylish. Limited quantity, signed & numbered.

As for the fuzz…In 2017 I designed 2 circuits for a very well known pedal company in NYC. These were loosely based around their earliest releases, or “triangle” era. They bought one of the circuits, and this is the other.

The artwork and concept was developed with Chicago artist, musician, and tattooer Peter Norman who plays in the band Shrineburner . Peter reached out looking to collaborate on a very heavy fuzz pedal that would work great for bass and low tuning guitars. After digging through piles of prototypes and unreleased designs, this circuit stood out far beyond the rest and is my absolute favorite for bass guitar as well.

This is an original take on this style of schematic, as i wanted to focus on the aspects of these that are great while also solving some issues that are inherent to the stock designs of that time period. There’s a lot of copy clones out there, this is not one of them. The gain is ferocious, the low end is huge but well balanced with the rest of the EQ response, and the muddiness has been resolved. There’s tons of sustain and upper midrange cut that push this into uncharted waters. The SHRINEBURNER is loaded with silicon clipping diodes and NOS transistors, through hole components, and is all hand drilled, wired, and built in Chicago. True Bypass, takes 9VDC or battery, and comes with a 2 year warranty on parts & performance.

The amazing green hot sauce is courtesy of local musician Trader Rick Fiore, for all your delicious self destructive desires. Green tortex picks from Dunlop, and artwork by Peter Norman.
